Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson is born the 25 of October of 1984, Santa Bárbara, California, United States, It is the second daughter of two evangelical pastors, has a sister two years older and a brother named Angela four years younger named David.Su mother, Mary Hudson, who is evangelical (born Mary Perry) grew up in Southern California, the father Katy, Keith Hudson, was an actor on the West Coast of the United States of the 1960s. Katy is the maternal niece Eleanor Perry, who was a writer, and Frank Perry, who was a film director, film producer and screenwriter. Katy has Portuguese ancestry, German, Irish and English.Katy joined the religious ministry of their parents,  singing in church at the age of 9 to 15 years.24 grew up listening to only gospel music and was not allowed to listen to what her mother called "secular music."  Katy attended Christian schools and camps as a child,  Katy learned to dance by several dancers in a recreation building in Santa Barbara, learned to dance Swing, Lindy Hop and Jitterbug.At the age of 15, Katy was singing in church and attracted the attention of rock music experts from Nashville, Tennessee, who brought her there to polish their skills escritura.
